  5. Add the rest of the butter, then salt and liberal amounts of fresh ground pepper while simmering for a few more minutes. Throw in the capers now if you’re adding them
  6. Strain the spaghetti well then add it to your pan of vegetables and mix. Cook this for a few more minutes then serve!

The thinly cut zucchini and squash are good enough to eat. With summer in full-swing, we are swimming in zucchini and squash from our garden. We have had a few tomatoes, but not too many this year. Drain and add to tomatoe mixture. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
